World Heart Day

"The World Heart Foundation organizes World Heart Day, an international campaign held on September 29 to inform people about cardiovascular diseases, which are the biggest cause of death. The day promotes preventative measures to reduce the risk of cardiovascular diseases".

One of the most preventive measures to reduce the risk of cardiovascular diseases is to keep yourself healthy and fit. As we all know in this busy world, corporates don't have time to focus on their body and as they have a sitting job, they face more health related problems than others. Making more and more people aware about fitness is the principal motive of Aditi. Taking it forward, on World Heart Day, Aditi conducted one hour of Yoga and one hour of Zumba session at Reliance Industries Limited, and made corporates feel happy and relaxed, much needed for their hectic yet lethargic lifestyle.








Let's know more about Zumba and Yoga. Both of these are different forms of fitness, rather totally contrasting forms of fitness. While one pumps you up, the other makes you feel relaxed. But both have their own sets of benefits on you. Let's also talk about the health benefits of Zumba and Yoga:

  • YOGA is essentially a spiritual discipline based on an extremely subtle science, which focuses on bringing harmony between mind and body.
  1. This program is a must for people who have a sitting job as due to sitting on one seat for whole day, their body posture, and a lot of other elements get affected. By practising different asanas of yoga, the body becomes flexible and builds strength in muscles.
